Rebekah Sampson Counseling
Welcome!
Rebekah Sampson has worked in the mental health field for over 15 years, and has been a licensed professional counselor since 2008. Her extensive work with children, adolescents, adults and families includes agency, family-based and a private practice setting.
She has extensive experience working with individuals with emotional, behavioral and social challenges. She believes all individuals have their own story to share and through validation of past and present experiences one can learn and grow into a healthier individual.
Rebekah utilizes various treatment methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and a Family Systems Model. Therapy sessions include talk, play, and art. Rebekah believes her approach to be empathetic, genuine, kindhearted and relatable. She believes the client is the expert on his/her life, and has the ownership and ability to guide their work together.
Rebekah has strong community ties, and is active in a local church. She is passionate about children receiving early support on behavioral and social needs. She will advocate for her clients, and has a special interest in supporting children and adults with disabilities.
